A message from edyn

All of us at edyn have a shared vision. We want to put the soul back into hospitality. We want to build sanctuaries for all the free thinkers among us. We want to rediscover the emotion and joy of travel. We think you want the same. It’s a worthy ambition and we believe we’ve done a decent job so far. Our Locke hotels in Edinburgh, Manchester and London will shortly be joined by new openings in Dublin, Munich, Berlin, Lisbon and Copenhagen. This growth builds on the foundation of our heritage UK serviced apartment brand SACO and its luxury cousins The Moorgate in London and Wittenberg in Amsterdam.

And now this…

Travel is actively discouraged. Borders closed. In an increasingly connected world, social distancing and isolation has become the new narrative. To describe these as ‘unprecedented times’ seems trite. Our ambitions feel distant to our primary concern for the health and safety of our guests, colleagues and families. And yet in these trying times the spirit of hospitality, as old as humanity itself, endures and our vision of sanctuary could not be more relevant or important.

So for those of us who have to spend time away from home, or if you are looking for somewhere to work remotely, you can always find comfort and protection at any of our sanctuaries – whether a boutique aparthotel or serviced apartment, whether for an afternoon, a night or a month. We have amended our booking and cancellation policies, our cleaning and hygiene routines and our operational procedures to give you a measure of confidence amidst all this uncertainty.

But more importantly, all of us at edyn wish all of you health and comfort, wherever you are and for however long this storm lasts.
